Ajith Kumar Parlikad, PhD

Dr Ajith Parlikad is Senior Lecturer in Industrial Systems at the University of Cambridge. Ajith is the head of the Asset Management Group at the Institute for Manufacturing and is the theme leader on asset management and maintenance at the Centre for Smart Infrastructure and Construction (CSIC). His focus is examining how asset information can be used to improve asset performance through effective decision-making. Ajith has published over 100 papers in reputed academic journals and conferences. He actively engages with industry through research and consulting projects. He is a member of the steering committee of the IFAC Working Group on "Advanced Maintenance Engineering, Services and Technology” and a member of the International Society of Engineering Asset Management.
