The future of food

S2G Ventures have recently published an excellent report on the future of food in the age of covid. It includes some great analysis on the challenges, and looks at trends for investment, technology, business, and consumer behavior. It even looks at the relationship between covid and calories. As investors that specialize in companies across the entire food system, S2G are well-placed to review the market, and are increasingly taking a position as advocates for the industry. As a disclaimer, I should say that they are a significant investor in SWARM - and I’m proud to say that, as I think they’ve done a great job in supporting their portfolio throughout the pandemic, and in driving positive change for the food system.

If you are interested in the direction of the food industry (and who isn’t?) or just want to learn a little more about history of pandemics and the associated recovery and innovations - then check out this (free) report here.
